Add a step by step go to the course, choose course, add to basket, purchase, agree to terms, create account, you will then be enrolled on your course/courses. This will then be registered with the awarding body. Your courses will appear in your courses

The entry criteria is in the course overview, you will also need to agree to the requirements for the course before you are able to purchase.

The NVQ units can be completed in as little as 3 months or up to 3 years – depends on you, if you put the work in. You will need to ensure you have 18th edition which can take 3 days or as long as you need to learn it with DTE and then pass the exam.

The initial verification is an external exam and assessment with practical aspects (additional cost)  which need to be completed in a training centre.  We can assist you with this and can purchase preparation material for this and advise of where to do this.

The AM2E has to be sat at a NET registered centre. The link on the home page will show you all available centre. This is a 16.5 hour assessment in 5 parts and is an additional cost (usually around 710 pounds) you can sit a 3 day preparation course if necessary with most test centres.



There are many avenues to help, we have our community and forums where liked minded people share problems and answers and our professionally qualified trainers and assessors are here to advise you also if you get stuck.

You will receive instant paper confirmation on your result at the end of the exam ( this is not your certificate) the certificates are posted direct from the awarding body and usually come with 2 weeks – maximum time is 6 weeks. Always ensure your address is correct at the time of taking the exam as that will be where the certificate is posted to.

The application process is generally quite straightforward, once you have attained your NVQ Level 3 Electrical qualification and also the latest 18th edition Wiring regulations BS 7671:2018.
